If you are pregnant, or wishing to become pregnant, and are wanting pre-conception, prenatal care and homebirth then I am here to assist you.
Every woman and her family has different wants and needs. I believe in individual, woman-led care, and can provide you with the support, education, and resources available to achieve the outcome that you want for yourself and your family.
I trust birth and I trust YOU. You know better than anyone what it is you need. If there is any doubt, there are many tools we can explore together to overcome your doubts and uncertainties. Reconnecting with your intuition and guidance system that you already possess, is a great way to have a fulfilling pregnancy, birth, and parenthood.

Great News!
NOW ACCEPTING INSURANCE
J. Michelle Gober, LM, CPM (Flower of Life Midwife) is now accepting insurance to assist you in paying
for your midwifery care and birth. Most insurance companies will pay a percentage of your care with a Licensed Midwife and/or Certified Professional Midwife in an out-of-network capacity. However, Medicaid and TriCare do NOT cover expenses for
out of hospital midwifery care with LM’s and/or CPM’s. Also, if you have Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of Texas, there is a different process for
you to be reimbursed for your care (see below).
If you have an insurance plan from any company except BCBS, Medicaid, and Tricare, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Artemis Billing LLC will provide you with a Verification of Benefits for $25. This will let you know how much your plan will cover for your midwifery care and birth. Sandy at Artemis has been billing for midwives for many years and is an expert in navigating insurance plan coverage.

Step 2: Once you know the amount your insurance plan will pay towards your care, please make arrangements with your midwife to set up monthly payments for the remaining amount due.
Step 3: Once your baby is born, your midwife will submit a Superbill to Artemis Billing to complete the claim to your insurance company, who will pay the balance due for your care.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas Members:
BCBS does allow you to get in-network credit for your payment to an out-of-network provider if the cost is less than an in-network provider. Please go to BCBS Reimbursement once your baby is born to complete the process to be reimbursed for your care. Your midwife will assist you in completing the claim if needed.
